Hosted by Tyler Florence, "The Great Food Truck Race" began airing in July with it's debut in Los Angeles, where eight teams hand-squeezed orange juice to get the keys to their food trucks. The show made stops in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Yuma and, for its latest episode, the Coachella Valley, showcasing glimpses of trendy venues.

I was quite surprised that Just Wing It finished first on this skills challenge. Granted, they used extra wooden skewers, but no one said that it was against the rules. The wing guys got their seed money and headed off first, followed by Mobile Moo Shu and lastly New England Grill.

But, this challenge wasn’t just about making a delicious dish. The dish needed to appeal to customers. With everyone parked in the same area and selling a shrimp dish, the teams needed to stand out. Whether it was being the first truck to sell or the most creative dish, a boring fried shrimp dish wasn’t going to win the challenge.
TV picks for July 26: 'Jesus Christ Superstar,' 'Nashville,' 'The Great Food Truck Race' - according to Startribune
“Nashville” clearly stayed on stage for too many encores, but you may want to check out the series finale on the off chance that Connie Britton’s beloved character Rayna Jaymes, who died last year, will return from the grave. The series, which debuted in 2012, always had great musical ambitions, thanks to the early influences of producer T Bone Burnett. Too bad the soap-opera antics eventually overshadowed the killer soundtrack.
