Apparently Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is "Very Unhappy" About 'The Act' - - per Cosmopolitan

Gypsy has heard about the series from others and appears to be most upset about how her friend Aleah (played by AnnaSophia Robb) is portrayed. "She heard from people about how Aleah was being portrayed, and she was very upset about that because Aleah was such a positive influence for her like an older sister and she didn't like that," Macelli says. "She feels like, 'Oh well, I did what I did so I'm fair game kind of in way.' That was something that was very upsetting for her."

The Act creator reveals plans for season 2 of the Gypsy Rose Blanchard series on Hulu - PopBuzz - by Popbuzz

Discussing her hopes for season 2, Dean said: "The Act was designed as an anthology: obviously the title refers to a couple things. Obviously the act of the crime, but also the act that Dee Dee and Gypsy were putting on for the public. If there were a Season Two, those are the stories that we would be interested in telling."
