The new Young Justice has grown up alongside its heroes - The Verge - via Theverge

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about Young Justice is how big its universe feels. Marvel has protected its properties by carefully siloing them. While Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is closely tied to the MCU, other Marvel spinoffs like Netflix’s Jessica Jones, Hulu’s Runaways, or Freeform’s Cloak & Dagger keep their references to the larger world of Marvel heroes and villains coy, or simply nonexistent.

The season's final scene, though, threw audiences for a loop as we saw Savage arriving on Apokolips, strolling past the likes of Desaad and Godfrey and engaging in a handshake with Darkseid. No words were spoken, but seeing these two allying is truly scary. From what Outsiders hints at so far, Savage is trafficking metahumans and building the galaxy's most deadly army, with Darkseid's Parademons and Furies ready to join them as the new conquerors of the cosmos.

Young Justice: Outsiders Makes Kaldur The New Aquaman - by Screenrant

"We established back in season 1 that King Orin was training Kaldur to take his place as Aquaman. Aquaman was also King of Atlantis, which to most people would be a full-time job, and yet he also had to be in the Justice League as Aquaman, which was a lot on his plate. His game plan was to train Kaldur’ahm to be the new Aquaman so he could go back to being King of Atlantis, which was plenty. What you’ll see in this season is that after everything that’s happened in season 1 and season 2, and the leadership qualities that Kaldur has shown, Orin looks at Kaldur and says, ‘You’re ready.’ It’s a pretty momentous year for him."

A third season of Young Justice was officially announced in November 2016 following the series' initial cancellation on Cartoon Network in 2013 with returning showrunners Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti. The upcoming season will release three new episodes at a time, every Friday across its 26-episode season, with the exception of January 25 which will see the release of four episodes that Friday instead.

Fan Buzz

Anyone remember "I feel naked, and not in a fun way?& I will give this one a high point, because this is one of CN's best hope, along with Adventure Time and Regular Show. It is a must see for any superhero fans, surpassing even classics such as Batman: the animated series and Justice League Unlimited. Weisman has said he had the next season planned in his mind, should it come. However, I couldn't help but feel, as with the "Spectacular Spider-Man", I wouldn't have the chance to watch this for much longer before these sidekicks are (***bad pun alert***) kicked to the side.
