Supergirl's Latest Death Sparks Big Consequences | CBR - CBR - via Cbr

If Lockwood's policies were harsh before, they're now going to be even worse as he seeks to get revenge on every other alien he can find. This is sure to make Supergirl's job of clearing her name and stopping Lex even more difficult, as Supergirl moves into the final three episodes of Season 4.

'Supergirl': "Crime and Punishment" Synopsis Released - - via Comicbook

You can see the official synopsis here: WILLIE GARSON GUEST STARS — Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Lena (Katie McGrath) head to Stryker’s Island to search for clues on how to defeat Lex. At the prison, Kara tries to befriend a nosy prisoner, Steve (guest star Willie Garson), who may have insight into what Lex was doing, while Lena studies an array of puzzles Lex left behind in the hopes of discovering his whereabouts. While there, a prison riot breaks out and Kara must find a way to stop the prisoners without revealing her secret identity as Supergirl. Meanwhile, Kelly (guest star Azie Tesfai) encourages James (Mehcad Brooks) to talk to someone for his PTSD, and Alex (Chyler Leigh) faces off against Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) after he storms the DEO and acquires some powerful weapons to hunt Supergirl. Antonio Negret directed the episode with story by Rob Wright and teleplay by Lindsay Sturman & Aadrita Mukerji.

'Supergirl': Will Lex Luthor Reveal Kara's Secret Identity to Lena? - - via Comicbook

And that slow burn may finally be heating up. In the preview for the upcoming episode "All About Eve", it appears that Lex will be making his big move with his Red Daughter, one that puts a big target on Supergirl's back.

What Is Supergirl's Black Kryptonite, and What Does It Do? | CBR - via Cbr

Luthor's plans for the Black Kryptonite undoubtedly go beyond curing himself (and, by extension, Olsen), and we only have to look toward the comics again to see some of the dangers that come from tampering with the substance. In Dark Nights Metal: The Batman Who Laughs #1, the Joker-corrupted Batman modifies Black Kryptonite, which forces Supergirl to rip apart her family before dying, with Superman and Superboy similarly killing Lois Lane before turning on each other when exposed to the modified Black K.

Fan Buzz

And that is not taking anything away from her acting at all because I think she is quite excellent, and just happens to also be blessed with a set of good friends and co-workers for her premiere series The show is also very dramatic which I guess I can handle but that does not really speak well to anyone watching the show for hero qualities. I really miss Calista Flockhart the interaction between her and Kara. And he was kind of cool. That character was well written, and acted, and could serve as a role model for women.

Critics Reviews

There was a lot to like this year. While Mon-El’s presence continued to divide fans, the introduction of the Legion and seeing the character in full costume (cape and all) was a delight. The expansion of the J’onn/Martian Manhunter storyline, complete with a trip to Mars and meeting with his estranged <...> - by The Reel Bits - Season 3 [Richard Gray]

Mon-El’s return as a full-fledged superhero in his traditional costume saves the season from a few boring arcs. The Legion’s appearance in season three is a real bright spot for an otherwise uneven season. No, it’s not a perfect translation of the Legion to television, so long-time comic book readers <...> - by DoBlu Blu-ray Season 3 [Christopher Zabel]

The Blu-ray release of ‘Supergirl: The Complete Third Season’ includes some solid extras that fans should enjoy. Included on the release are ‘Deleted Scene(s)’ from 16 of this season’s episodes, in addition to a ‘Gag Reel’ for the season (running approximately 7 minutes) and 2 Behind the Scenes <...> - by Screen-Connections - Season 3 Blu-ray [Kevin Lovell]

While Kara’s dealing with her personal issues, the world continues to spin without her. Maggie and Alex are planning their wedding, James continues to run CatCo, and Cat’s found a comfy new position as Press Secretary to the president. Other updates since the Girl of Steel’s devastating decision? <...> - by Birth.Movies.Death. [Amelia Emberwing]

Because this week’s episode showed us Kara at her lowest point in the entire series. In the wake of Mon-El’s banishment from Earth, she’s completely detached from herself and her friends. Instead, she’s putting all of her time and effort into being Supergirl, though with none of the passion and heart she once <...> - by TV Equals [Jordan Alsaqa]
