Street Outlaws: Bristol episodes premiere on New Year's Day on Discovery Channel - WJHL-TV News Channel 11 - via Wjhl

BRISTOL, TN (WJHL) - Bristol Motor Speedway is set to start the new year in the fast lane. Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws: Bristol - Race to $200K premieres on New Year's Day.   Thirty-two of the fastest male and female racers in the country competed at Bristol, earlier this year, for the top $200,000 purse.  BMS said veteran drivers, Farmtruck, AZN are joined by 2018 Monster Energy Series Championship winner Joey Logano as they previewed the track on prep day.   The episode Street Outlaws: Bristol --Road to $200K premieres  at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on, Tuesday, January 1, on Discovery Channel. Then it will be followed by Street Outlaws: Bristol --Race to $200K at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Filming took place in the 4300 block of Riverport Road. Once they arrived, all the invited racers were reportedly told by the producers of the show to get inside the other racers' heads. Trash talking was reportedly encouraged.

And that makes them so short and the talking part - too long, which seems the show mostly consist of. Chuck has ruined it for me, does anyone else feel the same way? Would be nice to see a "No Prep" race sponsored by Discovery at a drag strip. Look at "Pinks All Out" and they didn't have any favorite racers to follow! The race sequence in general is edited below any critics.
