I wasn’t clear on why Camila wouldn’t sign the divorce papers. Would Epifanio take everything if she had? Is she seen as more powerful being married to the governor? Is it a Catholic thing? I’m really unsure. What scared me even more was how Cortez had eyed Isabella when he saw her earlier in the episode.
