Is Scott Bakula leaving NCIS: New Orleans cast? Will Pride die on season finale? - via Monstersandcritics

Yes, the preview and sneak peek that CBS gave for Season 5, episode 24 of NCIS: New Orleans makes it look pretty grim for Pride. He is certainly going to be in peril, especially in a foreign land with very little backup. But all signs point toward his survival.

The best thing to obviously share when it comes to the show is the simple fact that there will be another season of the series coming during the 2019-20 season — and, more than likely, this fall. NCIS: New Orleans remains one of the strongest 10:00 p.m. shows that CBS has, and we don’t really think that there’s going to be all that much in the way of interest in messing around with it. We wouldn’t be surprised to ultimately see it back in the same spot that it’s been in the past few seasons, and also return come fairly late within the month of September.

Another star likely coming back to the Big Easy? Rob Kerkovich AKA Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund. In fact, Rob already gave fans a hint of what's to come. Taking to Twitter, the actor shared an article announcing the renewal with the cheeky caption: "SEASON SIX, BABY. At least 24 more fictional people are guaranteed to die next year!"

“Both shows have been key pillars to the CBS schedule for several years,” network Entertainment President Kelly Kahl said. “They offer heroic stories, big stars and have attracted a passionate, loyal fan base. We’re excited to have … these terrific casts back to bring more terrific ‘NCIS’ stories to viewers in the U.S. and around the world.”

Previously on NCIS: New Orleans: Unable to trust anyone in New Orleans, the NCIS team calls in FBI Assistant Director Isler to help expose and stop the sinister scheme Mayor Hamilton has planned for the residents of Clearwater. Season Finale.

Critics Reviews

The highlight had to be their infiltrating Barlow's law office, with the heist-sounding music in the background. It wasn't nearly as well-executed as it needed to be, but at least they were able to scrub the surveillance footage. No, Sydney was determined to protect Pride at all costs. And it was nice to have someone who wasn't overly (or at all) concerned with legal niceties around for those "special" jobs, such as surveillance, beating down civilians and breaking and entering. <...> - by TV Fanatic [Dale McGarrigle]

I love the show and the cast. Hated to see Zoe, the character Brody leave the show. Looking forward to next season. The baby thrown in the mix was a bit weird I think. It was a bit much.
