As an only child, AJ admitted that he was used to putting himself first and not considering what others needed. But after getting married, he always has Stephanie on his mind. "Seven weeks ago, I got to say ‘I do' to Married at First Sight without knowing my wife. Today, I get to say ‘I do' to the person my wife is now that I know her and I couldn't be more happy about that," he shared. "I choose to stay married to you for the rest of my life."

Married at First Sight Cast 2019: Who Are the Experts? - via Heavy

Married at First Sight, Lifetime’s experimental reality series, sets willing participants up with a person whom they marry without ever knowing each other beforehand. The show then follows the ups and downs of the newlyweds as they navigate their lives with their new, “stranger” spouses.

The show shoehorns a lifetime of matrimonial issues into a few dozen episodes. Over the course of the season, viewers witness the daily ups-and-downs of marriage and cohabitation, and ultimately we learn the difficulty of matchmaking. MAFS’s couples fight, they cheat and – spoiler alert – most separate (divorce?) within a matter of weeks.

Are 'Married at First Sight' stars Luke and Kate still together after secret? - via Newsweek

Married at First Sight stars Luke and Kate have arguably had one of the roughest marriages during Season 8. Most of the time it was Luke disappointing Kate, who was trying everything she could to make the marriage work, but Tuesday night revealed it was Kate who betrayed Luke. For weeks, Kate and Luke said that they didn’t consummate their marriage. Kate later revealed to Dr. Pepper Schwartz that they were intimate five or six times, but Luke shut down and became guarded after they had sex and asked her not to tell the experts about their personal life.

Previously on Married at First Sight: The Season 3 couples meet with Dr. Pepper Schwartz six months after their weddings to discuss their experiences and reveal new developments in their relationships.

BS they do get paid

They said they got paid. Just not some huge amount. Probably enough to maintain their two residences.

How much do they each get paid? I saw in one article that they each get $100,000-but only if they agree to stay married at the end of the 6 weeks and sign a non-disclosure agreement. Jamie said they she and Doug used their money that the show paid them to buy a new house. That’s when I knew the reason for these people is not just to find their soulmate

I would love to see this show presented with older couples. I really enjoy this show, when I get to see it I just finished watching all the seasons online. I do I think it would be great for older couples to try this as well.

When this season is over, please introduce (not marry) Derek and Sonia………..I think they’d be a “real” loving couple. Oh and please lock Nick and Heather in a room for a week………………so they can torture each other with their nasty demeanors: YUCK!
