A New Western Australian Gold Rush Has Begun - via Seekingalpha

My view for now is to invest smaller dollars into some of the companies that have large tenements in these regions, as well as some of the established players. Clearly Novo Resources would be a core holding. Given the rarity and price of gold, risk and reward are both high, therefore a diversified approach is best.

The season’s first three episodes saw Ness’ crew struggle to find machinery capable of scraping through the Yukon permafrost to reach paydirt. Meanwhile, Schnabel has been embroiled in disputes with legendary miner Tony Beets.

Report: 'Gold Rush' star Todd Hoffman has a new gold mining show in the works - via Oregonlive

In Greenhorn Gold, we will see what happens when novice miners attempt to mine for gold in a blue collar competition-style reality show. A field of forty complete rookies will be narrowed down to twenty in a massive tryout, and then, one by one eliminated until only six remain at the end of the season. Those six will walk away with roughly $200k in raw gold to take home to their families at the end of each season."

Fan Buzz

Todd is a Goof!! In the end shows up on TV high. Breaks the trommel due to him not paying attention then Dave's crew fixes it... I think this is because, to me, most of the actors/gold hunters are unlikable (expect for maybe Grandpa Schnabel). I actually appreciate that Todd uses phrases like "frickin"...
