TV: Gap Year, E4, Review, Tim Key, Anders Hayward, Aisling Bea, Jamie Demetriou - Beyond The Joke - by Beyondthejoke

The initial plot is fairly rudimentary. Dylan (Anders Hayward) and Sean (Ade Oyefeso) have headed out to Asia and start out in China where they soon hook up with a pair of mismatched American meanderers Ashley (Brittney Wilson) and May (Alice Lee). There is a complication, however, when someone from Dylan’s past very quickly pitches up too.

Gap Year : Reviews 2017 - according to Chortle

Part of the reason they end up unfamiliar places is because Dylan (Anders Hayward) is going to quite extreme lengths to stalk his ex-girlfriend, dragging his unaware pal Sean (Ade Oyefeso) halfway around the world under false pretences. The pair quickly encounter a couple of girls, May (Alice Lee) and Ashley (Brittney Wilson), and the central characters are set… although there’s a little more fleshing out to be done.

Things start looking up when they meet two American girls, Ashley (Brittney Wilson) and May (Alice Lee), and middle-aged hanger-on Greg (Tim Key). But, when old tensions resurface and create carnage at a music festival on the Great Wall, Sean suddenly finds himself way out of his depth.

But really to all of us, he will forever be our Andy! "The Andy Griffith Show" reruns will probably been seen on TV a hundred years from now. Andrew Griffith and I can treat you to a hot dog, wouldn't that be the highlight of your day!!! When I was little I remember watching the show, and I actually believed that he was a real small southern town sheriff. Hes been around for a while mostly TV he was in a couple movies, The Andy Griffith show is one of the only shows I dont mind watching in black and white.
