Gardening Australia will have a new berth and a longer running-time when it returns from its summer break in 2018. The 29th (!) season of the popular show hosted by Costa Georgiadis will return on January 26 in a one-hour format. The shift to 7.30pm on Friday – which is the night Gardening Australia aired from 1990 to 2004 – will allow more time for deeper stories as well as practical tips and advice. "The new one-hour slot on a Friday at 7.30 means people will be armed with all the info they need to spend a successful and enjoyable weekend in the garden, whether they are complete novices or seasoned professionals," says an ABC spokesperson.
