News & Interviews

Have I Got News For You, QI: 20 of the biggest panel shows ever, ranked - Digital Spy - according to Digitalspy

Only one series of Taskmaster has actually been on TV so far, but it already seems to have gone down a storm (no wonder that Dave ordered two more series at once). The challenges faced by the celebs are all very silly - from trying to identify the contents of a pie without breaking the crust (our kind of puzzle) to making a Swedish person blush - but then, we do love a bit of silliness. Also: Alex Horne's facial expressions are stunning.

Alan Davies: QI comedian facing legal action over Lord McAlpine tweet - Telegraph.co.uk - via Telegraph

Sally Bercow, the wife of the Speaker of the Commons, and George Monbiot, a columnist for the Guardian are also among those who will be pursued by Lord McAlpine for using the social networking site to tweet his name.

Alan Davies reveals the REAL reason Stephen Fry left QI - Digital Spy - according to Digitalspy

"You see what a mess other shows are, how long they take to record and how the audience is in torment. Then you go to a QI recording with Stephen in the chair and the two hours fly by – there are no pauses, barely a fluff on the autocue. Up-tempo, funny, sharp."

Sandi Toksvig: Being QI host means I can't be naughty - the Irish News - by Irishnews

“But it’s my job to be nanny or professor or whatever it is and make sure, because there’s some fabulous stuff, there’s amazing facts and every show I go ‘I didn’t know that! That’s amazing!’.
